Following several years of focused efforts, the excellence of our work environment efforts was confirmed when we received a Work Environment Certificate for our Danish operations. The Certificate is an acknowledgement that we meet the stringent requirements set by the international OHSAS 18001 work environment standard.
Our long-term, persevering effort to constantly improve and develop our work environment produces good results and improved workplace quality. It also results in continuous adaptation and development of work tools and working methods to ensure a good, safe work environment. For example, we provide electric bicycles for mail carriers and lifting equipment for employees at our parcel terminals.
Work environment survey for effective action
We regularly conduct systematic employee and work environment surveys in order to monitor, evaluate and improve our work environment and working climate. We also have systems for reporting and monitoring industrial injuries. Survey results are used to identify deficiencies and take steps to further improve our work environment and safety, increase well-being and improve employees’ physical and mental health.
