Pensions
Post Danmark A/S employees have pension plans. The contribution is 12-20 per cent and is paid in full by Post Danmark A/S for most employee groups. Contributions are paid into a pension fund determined by the union that negotiates for each employee group. Former Post Danmark A/S government employees are covered by the State’s civil servant pension.
The pension agreement ITP-P applies to employees of the Swedish companies (Posten AB, Posten Meddelande AB, Posten Logistik AB, Svensk Kassaservice AB, Svensk Adressändring AB, AddressPoint AB). The pension agreement ITP-P sets forth employees’ rights to retirement pensions, disability pensions, family pensions and survivor’s protection.
PostNord insures employee pensions through provisions to a pension fund or by purchasing insurance from an independent insurance company. Benefits accrued by employees are set forth in the annual insurance statement which is sent to each employee in letter form.
