Funding
PostNord AB is a Swedish corporation owned 40% by the Danish state and 60% by the Swedish state. Votes are allocated 50/50 between the Danish and Swedish states. Since PostNord is not a listed company, operations are financed by issuing debt, in addition to internally generated funds.
PostNord’s funding strategy is to have diversified funding with borrowing in both the fixed income and money market with good reserves in the form of committed credit facilities.
PostNord’s Treasury is responsible for group funding, liquidity management and payment services, thus ensuring centralised and coordinated financial risk management.
