Eltel Sønnico new customer in Norway

From TV auction to DM campaign to a satisfied new customer: this was the course of events when telecom company Eltel Sønnico became a customer of PostNord in Norway.

Every year, the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation, NRK, holds an auction and donates the collected money to charity. Most recently, the money went to a rainforest preservation fund. PostNord in Norway, which was NRK’s logistics partner, decided to donate NOK 400 for every customer meeting booked before the auction, and sent out a DM with information.

Agreement for container freight

Eltel Sønnico jumped on the mailing and reserved a meeting with PostNord’s salesperson, who had a physical DM with him in the form of a tree. During the meeting, they discussed which logistics services Eltel Sønnico would require, and PostNord and Eltel Sønnico soon signed an agreement for container freight of disassembled base stations at various locations in Norway. The containers are loaded at PostNord Norway’s terminals, where Eltel Sønnico’s technicians drop off the materials as the constructions are disassembled. Once the containers are filled, PostNord handles transportation to various recycling facilities.

Just a few weeks after signing the agreement, work was underway. The assignments are run in project form and the contract will be called off regularly.
