PostNord delivers A-Z throughout the Nordic region

On Tuesday, Varner Ibrahimović launched its A-Z sports clothes brand, which is owned and run by Zlatan Ibrahimović together with the clothing group Varner.

The first collection will be sold exclusively via the website, so a crucial part of the launch is the associated logistics - which must ensure that the clothes arrive quickly and safely.

PostNord was one logistic advisor

In addition to managing deliveries throughout the entire Nordic region, PostNord was also involved as one of the logistics advisors during the preparatory phase.
“AZ’s whole approach is based on ensuring a good consumer experience down to the very last detail - everything should be easy and convenient - from purchase through to final delivery. Customers want to choose themselves and we therefore offer them choice and precision regarding deliveries,” says Sebastian Heimfors, COO at Varner Ibrahimović.

The overall consumer experience

PostNord’s e-commerce expert Arne Andersson comments:
“Consumers are becoming more discerning, so when one launches a new site it is especially important to take into account the overall consumer experience and give them choices regarding deliveries. This is exactly what A-Z has done. And of course a clothing collection associated with a superstar must have a logistics provider that also plays in the top division.

The football star’s own message is that it is not the clothes that create an athlete.

“This brand is for all you fighters. With a strong will you can achieve whatever you want,” says Zlatan Ibrahimović, in the press material issued by A-Z.

70 products

The first collection contains about 70 products. A-Z is available in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Germany, Holland, France, England, Spain, Italy and Austria. The clothing can be ordered from

The sporting collection is sold via Varner Ibrahimović, which is part of the Norwegian Varner Group, a business that has run stores for more than 50 years and is one of Northern Europe’s leading textile companies.
