Never before have so many postcards been sent using the Riktiga Vykort service – and Postkortet, as it is known in Denmark – as in 2016. The two-million mark was exceeded during the year, representing a total increase in volume of 9 percent compared to 2015.
“We saw a high level of growth in the number of postcards sent using the service throughout 2016. This figure is continuing to increase, both on the web and in the apps, and in December we passed the milestone of two million postcards sent,” says Product Manager for Riktiga Vykort, Håkan Bergström.
A total of 2,015,000 postcards were sent using the service in 2016, an increase of 12 percent in Sweden and 4 percent in Denmark compared to 2015.
There was also a major focus in 2016 on introducing improvements and new functions in the service’s apps.
“One of the new features was the ability to send a video with your postcard, with a link to the video presented as a QR code on the back of the postcard. What’s particularly pleasing too is that 80 percent of all postcards were sent from the apps,” says Håkan Bergström and continues:
Our aim for 2017 is to improve the service for companies on the web, including by expanding opportunities for invoice payment.
