E-commerce is becoming an increasingly big part of people's lives in the Nordic countries. In 2018, we purchased physical goods for more than SEK 320 billion via the internet, and that figure is expected to grow. Every month, PostNord measures the behavior of Nordic consumers with regard to e-commerce, and publishes the report E-commerce in the Nordics, which highlights important similarities and also differences between the countries.
In this year’s report, we also take a closer look at artificial intelligence and the attitude of consumers to this new technology. In addition, we identify which foreign marketplaces Nordic consumers are buying from, and much more besides.
