PostNord signs framework agreements with three IT suppliers
PostNord has signed Group-wide framework agreements in IT with Capgemini, Hewlett Packard (HP) and Tata Consulting Services (TCS). The framework agreements encompass IT operations, development and management.
For several years PostNord has outsourced both IT operations and the development and management of IT applications and systems. As the old agreements are now expiring, a new tender has been conducted and new framework agreements signed.
“We’re continually reviewing the suppliers we work with. A number of qualified suppliers took part in the tender process. We’ve now chosen three suppliers that can provide us with the conditions for more rapid business development and access to new technology while keeping down our costs,” says Joss Delissen, CIO at PostNord.
The framework agreements do not entail any immediate change of supplier. Call-offs will be made from the new framework agreements as the old ones expire or new needs arise.
