All in one: the Delivery Options API
Rather than calling several underlying APIs separately, most merchants integrate once through our Delivery Options API. It pulls together validation, transit times, and delivery-point data into a single checkout response.

What APIs does PostNord offer for e-commerce integration?
We offer three core API groups: Pre-order APIs for checkout validation and delivery options, a Booking API for creating shipments, labels, customs data and returns, and a Track Shipment API for real-time shipment status. All three are combined in our Delivery Options API for simplified checkout integration.
How long does it take to integrate PostNord's APIs?
Most merchants using our REST-based APIs and integration guides go live within a few weeks. Timelines depend on which delivery options and markets you enable, and whether you integrate directly or through a multi-carrier platform.
Can I use PostNord without building a direct API integration?
Yes. PostNord is available through multi-carrier parcel management platforms including Sendcloud, Shipmondo, Metapack, and nShift, so you can add PostNord to an existing checkout and shipping setup without custom development.
Do PostNord's APIs support the new EU customs rules?
Yes. Following the removal of the EU's 150 euro duty-free threshold from 1 July 2026, our Booking API supports the customs data and IOSS information required for compliant cross-border shipments into and within the EU.
