Logistics that moves your business forward

End-to-end logistic solutions built for Nordic e-commerce and cross-border trade. Fast, flexible, and increasingly sustainable.

What is logistics?

Logistics is the coordinated process of planning, implementing, and controlling the movement and storage of goods from point of origin to final destination. It spans every step of the supply chain, from warehousing and inventory management to transportation, customs clearance, and last-mile delivery.

For e-commerce businesses, effective logistics is the engine behind customer satisfaction. A well-managed logistics operation means orders arrive on time, returns are hassle-free, and costs are kept under control, even as your business scales.

Modern logistics also encompasses sustainability: choosing carriers, routes, and packaging that reduce your environmental footprint without compromising on delivery speed or reliability.

  • Order & Inventory Stock management, pick & pack, order fulfilment from warehouse to dispatch
  • Transport & Routing Domestic and cross-border freight, carrier selection, route optimisation
  • Customs & Compliance Import duties, VOEC, NUF, brokerage — we handle the complexity for you
  • Last-Mile Delivery Home delivery, service points, parcel lockers — flexible options for end customers

Everything you need to know about working with PostNord for your logistics needs.

What is logistics and why does it matter for e-commerce?

Logistics covers everything involved in getting a product from your warehouse to your customer's door, including storage, transport, customs, and returns. For e-commerce, great logistics directly impacts customer satisfaction, repeat purchase rates, and profitability.

What logistic solutions does PostNord offer?

PostNord offers home delivery (PostNord Home and Home Small), parcel services, parcel locker and service point collection, cross-border shipping, customs brokerage, and a Nordic-wide return solution. We cover the full logistics chain for Nordic e-commerce.

How is sustainability handled in PostNord's logistics?

We're investing in electric vehicle fleets, renewable energy, and responsible packaging. We also provide CO₂ data per shipment so businesses can measure and offset their logistics emissions. Our goal is fossil-free deliveries across all markets by 2030.

Can PostNord handle cross-border logistics to Norway?

Yes. PostNord provides full customs support for Norway, including VOEC registration, NUF solutions, and in-house brokerage for shipments above the NOK 3,000 threshold. We handle the regulatory complexity so your customers receive a smooth delivery experience.

What is the difference between DDP and DDU shipping?

DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) means the shipper covers all import costs, your customer pays nothing extra on arrival. DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid) places import duties with the recipient. For Norway, we recommend DDP to maximise conversion and minimise failed deliveries.

How do I set up a business account with PostNord?

Getting started is straightforward. Contact our business team through the request a quote form, and one of our logistics specialists will reach out to discuss your volumes, markets, and requirements. We'll recommend the right solution and get you onboarded quickly.
