When shopping internationally, monthly shopping remains the most common frequency, mirroring domestic habits. However, shopping less than monthly is considerably more common for international purchases than domestic ones. This likely reflects the added complexity of cross-border shopping, such as longer delivery times, potential additional fees, and more complicated return processes – all of which may encourage greater reflection before committing to a purchase.

The most popular international marketplaces and countries to shop from remain the same as last year. The one notable shift is Germany, which has seen a 7 percent increase, further strengthening its position as the Danes’ favorite country to shop from internationally.
